Hurricane Ike hits South East Texas in Fall 08. After one year of that sad event what I really miss is Rain of Texas(South East) and Dunkin Donuts – America runs on Dunkin but somehow they does not run My Part of America. Remembering my last days there, The only thing left was to go to Dunkin every other night. If not Dunkin than Exxon gas station on freeway I-10, to get the Ice cream. I crave for Donuts now. Last few Friday nights we were having get together, with our laptop and mouse ready to destroy each others Kingdom.

The most unforgettable things at Lamar was These gaming nights. We started with group of 4 and than grown up to 11 to 12 at one time, and of course many spectators waiting to see our battle at all times. DotA , AOE and Counter Strike are the games that we used to play. During the same time Me and some of my Friends also developed 2 3D-Games. It was definitely not same fun as playing game but it also has it own fun, I mean coding is one of my hobby.

We spent our time creating strategies to win the battle on LAN world. And after two months I was  introduced to a game that was new to me and to some of my friends. DotA is very good game. What we needed was little training, although I need some extra time compare to others. I want to enjoy game rather than spending more time to understand. Once we had that we were ready for some SCOURGE – SENTINEL battle for Kingdom. And than starts Our Long Famous Lamar Gaming Nights. You can hear LICH and SNIPER fighting with MEDUSA and DRAW RANGER. some times lighting was killing some heroes and  stun and Frost arrows were slowing down some of them. Make some recipes to give some strength and to have some magic spells on opponents. Most popular sound was “Ultimate, Ultimate …”. We used to play that all night. Some times even on Weekdays also we had that same situation. That was fun. Will miss that for a long time.

But I am happy today…:) Really !!! I finished this post. it was hanging around since third day after my last post in April. I have some more thoughts to share. but I waited on this one to complete.

Fall 2008, Hurricane Ike hits Texas and Louisiana. It was a strict notice to evacuate from Beaumont(My Home Town in USA) before Saturday night. I had my plans for this hurricane. 15 days before this hurricane Ike, it was a close call for hurricane Gustav which hit Louisiana badly. I was planning to go to my aunt’s home in Mississippi, I hired a car from Alamo on Friday evening, went to International dinner at BSM. I was ready to leave Beaumont next morning. But it was different story on Saturday. I joined my friends on the trip to Arkansas.

Group of 15 friends started journey on Saturday evening. Heading to north towards Arkansas all of us had a feeling in our mind that next 3 – 4 days we were having loads of fun. But we planned that trip on the fly. No body knows where we all are planning to stay in Arkansas. Fortunately i had planned the labor day trip with some of my buddies but due to lack of members we dropped that trip. So all the things were in my mind. Hot Spring, AR is the home away from home for all of us for next 3 days.  I had already decided all the place where i wanted to go.

Arkansas is really a nice place. We started from Little rock, AR. After heavy lunch at Indian restaurant we went to Pinnacle Mountain. with firm determination all started to hike without proper hiking gears. what was in our mind was to reach at the peak before evening but god has different plans for us. Some body at the trail shown us a long way to the peak instead of the short one. At the time we found the way to the peak, everybody was running out of energy, but we continued to hike. Well its about 15 minutes of walk remained to the peak and unwanted guest arrived. Rainfall on the top of mountain without any protective clothes, still we continued but we took time more than what we had to complete the round trip and get back to Hot Spring. We enjoyed being there on the Pinnacle Mountain.

Next day was already set for fun at Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, Hot Springs  Amusement Park. Group of 15 is really nice for such a place. The park was full of visitors, but i had no problem enjoying my rides that i like the most. The most amazing thing about this park was it is situated between mountains. When you are at top of any ride, View from there is spectacular. After Very fun filled day all of us was very tired. Me and my roomies were gossiping about so many things on that night. It was a good Monday for me but not for Louisiana, Hurricane Gustav hits very badly.

University is calling every student about news that Gustav did not hit Beaumont. All are happy and ready to go back to home as soon as possible. I was little upset by all of that who were in hurry to go home. I had in my mind to cover few more places that day. I tried to convince them to visit places nearby. Fortunately i succeeded to do so. I set that way to Hot Spring Mountain Tower. Three cars headed to mountain for some more fun. And we exactly got that fun we wanted when we were on Top of that tower. It was a rainy day, Winds were blowing. I read somewhere in the tower that on the clear sunny day visibility is  about 70 miles. Of course we were not able to see that far. We did not take famous Hot Bath, missed time for that. but visited museum which explains about history of hot bath.  After those Happy Moments only one place was left. Lake Ouachita State Park, But after much time spent in hot springs we were running out of time. We returned home that night.

It was a very adventures, fun-filled and unforgettable trip. I went to my aunt’s home after 15 days when Ike was about to strike South-East Texas.

I came across many situations that are not easy to deal with, If  I did pass that situation very well that is only because of my Positive attitude towards the life. There are two kind of Energies: Positive Energy and Negative Energy. If you are looking for positive energy than you have positive attitude, if you are not looking for positive energy than you have non-positive attitude.

“Life is a gift given by god” we all say that (May be not by all), but anybody said “Life is a lesson to learn”. Answer to this could be yes but not for all. Everybody wants “Happiness” in their life even I also want happiness in my life. Reason for this is it’s a sources of Positive energy. When you are happy observe your life. You want more happiness. But When you are in trouble, have you tried to gain some positiveness? If you did than you always go away from that small trouble, even if it is big. But if you did not  then even small problems gets bigger than Mountain. And once your problem gets bigger you have no time for gaining positive Energy. So Only way to get out of this problem is think positive, be positive.

Why am I writing this is as my first post? I am not pointing any person directly that he/she is not positive in his/her approach, but when you look inside yourself you will know that How Positive are you. I am sharing this with world because I am happy with my life and Love given by world.
